Pediatric CPAP masks provide the same high quality CPAP therapy in a smaller size. They are made for children and petites. They are available in nasal and full face styles and attach to the head with pediatric headgear. Pediatric headgear either automatically comes with the mask or is listed as an option to buy with the mask. The pediatric masks attach to the CPAP machine with flexible tubing and are compatible with all machines. Like all other masks, pediatric masks should provide a comfortable fit and a complete seal without causing irritation or soreness. These masks should also be cleaned daily with warm water and soap or with mask spray or wipes. The cushion of the mask should be replaced every three months or when they no longer provide a comfortable fit and complete seal. The whole mask should be replaced every six months or when it no longer functions properly.
